HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
1st Sunday in November.
Booths should be decorated between Halloween and the open house. Many vendors will stay after hours to switch over their spaces. We call the event the Holiday Party. You are not required to attend, but are welcome to show up and shop.

MERCHANDISE
Tis the season to sell!
If you don’t have Christmas items, its ok. Customers continue to buy vintage items for decorations and gifts. You can make your space look festive by adding some garland, a tree, tinsel or Christmas lights. No live trees or fresh garland.

BOOTH RESET
Clean, reset, and check tags.
This is the perfect opportunity to make sure all fixtures and merchandise have tags. Clean your space by sweeping, dusting and rearranging. Many customers will return during the holidays. Give them a new shopping experience.

AFTER HOURS RESET
October 30 thru the Open House.
You do not need to notify the staff. Just show up by 7pm. We will lock the front doors and vendors can leave through the side door. You are welcome to work until midnight during this week.

DURING STORE HOURS
10am-7pm during store hours.
As always, you can redo and fill during store hours. We prefer this if you’re not doing a major reset. Be courteous of customers and allow them to shop. Keep the aisles clear and try not to make a mess in neighboring booths. Avoid weekends before 5pm and event days.

MARKETING
Not before Open House.
If you decorate before Halloween, please do not advertise it online or in TNFC. We want to push everyone to the Open House. We try to create a sense of urgency to attend. Its a huge shopping and sales day at TN.

LIGHTS
Twinkling lights makes a difference.
We love holiday lights. Adding any type of lighting to your booth helps sell merchandise, and a string of Christmas lights adds a certain charm. Please do not use vintage lights as they could be a fire risk. LED lights are preferred. No more than two strands.

TAGS
Every item needs a tag.
Avoid bringing in vintage holiday that is not for sale. We don’t want to accidentally sell a family heirloom. Each ornament needs a tags. We suggest the Rhino Jewelry Tags. String tags fall off. Each item in a set needs a tag. Clearly mark is something is “as is” or chipped.

EVENTS
So many events!
As with all events, we ask you to NOT add merchandise or redo displays during the holiday events. Watch for the holiday event flyer. We want the store to sparkle and the staff to be focused on the customers. Don’t forget to promote online during the holidays too! Use #shoptruenorth #TNPole.

WHAT SELLS?
Vintage always sells.
Decor sells in November. Gifts sell in December. Vintage sells every day. The more you can have for sale (and not marked NFS), the better. This is a busy time of year so plan to restock and re-merchandise weekly if possible. Keep your booth full! You don’t want to miss out on sales due to an empty booth.

MAKE THAT MONEY
Restock often. Make the sales.
We know this is a busy time of year in your personal life, but if you give your booth attention, it will make you money. Nov & Dec tend to be the highest sales months. Take advantage of the opportunity. Restock. Keep full. Have fun.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Holiday removed by Jan. 8
Thank you for being a part of True North. We appreciate you. We hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. Since we do not have “sales” at TN, please remove all holiday items by January 8th. The customers (and staff) will all be tired of the holiday items by then. – Thank you!
