SCC stands for Sh!tty Craft Club. SCC is an independent club that meets at True North. It’s a club that everyone is welcome to join! It’s not serious, it’s fun. It’s an inclusive get-together at True North with bright, shiny things and glue! Come be a part of SCC at True North. We’ll make things and be all-together ridiculous. Leave with a sense of accomplishment or a better sense of humor.

COLLAGE NOTEBOOKS
Tuesday, April 8, 2025: 5pm-6:30pm
Free event. Come and collage a notebook with the Sh!tty Craft Club at True North. We’ll provide everything but the notebook. Bring something you want to turn into a journal or something to write random things in and we’ll provide the rest. (>>>Event Link HERE<<<)
*SCC PRO TIP: True North has a BUNCH of old books and notebooks that can be upcycled into journals. Check out our vendors on your next visit.
BEAD AND BAUBLE FRAME CRAFT
Saturday, May 10,2025: 12pm-2pm
We will be crafting a Beaded, Baubled, Beautiful frame. We’ll provide a PILE of bits and pieces along with the glue. You will bring a frame (4×6 or smaller) to BeDazzle. Weather permitting, we’ll be out in the backyard at Building 2. Think craft table conversations with music on the radio, sunshine, cool breezes, and friends. Event cost is $10 and you will receive a $5 True North Wooden Nickel to spend in the store.
(If weather is unfavorable, we will hold the event upstairs at Building 2 in the SCC space.)
FUNK-UP A SH!TTY PAINTING
Tuesday, June 10, 2025: 5pm-7pm
Bring an old painting or find one from one of True North’s awesome vendors. SCC will provide the rest. We’ll hang out and Funk ’em up! Your imagination is your guide!
Event cost is $10.
EMBROIDERY “ISH”
Tuesday, July 8, 2025: 5pm-7pm
OK… Here’s the plan… Embroidery “Ish” is all of us trying something new, so no pros! If you’re a pro, you’ll have to teach the rest of us. 😂 Sh!tty Craft Club will provide all supplies including needles, embroidery thread, scrap fabric for practice, hoops to use, books, and samples to try. If you’re one of those people that just jumps right in, feel free to bring a jacket or other piece of clothing you’ve been dying to embellish. If you have patches you’ve been wanting to put on, go ahead and bring those too!
